U.S. Veteran

Joseph died in hospice care at Holy Redeemer Hospital on April 24, 2012. He was 76. Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident in Avalon, NJ where he retired from his profession of State Bank Examiner. He also served proudly in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Joe Dunn was preceded by his mother Elizabeth and brother John (wife Dorothy). He was also the loving uncle and survived by Dorothy Burke (David) Philadelphia, John Dunn (Lynette) Houston, TX, Debbie Dunn Williamsburg, VA and Denise Hutchinson (David) Warminster, PA as well as the great nieces and two great nephews; also survived by his aunt Jean (John) McSweeney in Denver, CO and his cousin Robert (Birget) Wilder in Stuttgart, Germany. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday Eve. 7 to 9 PM and also Friday 8:30 to 9:30 AM Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila. followed by his funeral mass 10 AM St. Katherine of Siena Church. Int- Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 12265 Townsend Rd., Suite 400 Phila., PA 19154
