It is with deepest love and sorrow that we share that on October 21st, 2025, Melinda M. Long passed away at the age of 50 after a long and hard-fought battle with Parkinson's Disease.

Melinda was the beloved daughter of the late Roseanne and Francis Long, and the loving life partner of the late Patrick M. Donohue. She was a proud and devoted mother to Patrick T. and Aiden Donohue, and an adoring grandmother to Patrick Michael, who brought endless joy to her life. She is also survived by her brothers Frank (Dale), Jeffrey (Crystal), and Jason Long, her sisters-in-law Margie, Terri, Susan (John); brother-in-law the late Richard T. Donohue, and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Melinda had a deep love for music from reggae to rock, and a flair for fashion that always made her gracious spirit shine. She found peace and happiness in nature and never turned down an adventure. Her vibrant, feisty, and loving spirit touched everyone she met, and her strength and warmth will forever live on through her family and all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday March 28, 2026 at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 at 12:00 PM followed by Words of Remembrance at 2:00 PM. Interment private.
