Agnes M. Farrell (nee Whalen) passed away suddenly at her residence October 7, 2020. Wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Susan Barnett (Richard), Roseann Fitzpatrick (Joseph), David Farrell (Diane), Christopher Farrell (Madeleine) and the late Joseph A. Farrell. Nanny to Matthew (Ruth), Karen (Douglas), Michael (Eileen), Kaitlyn, David (Adrienne), Erin, Alison, Christopher (Kelly), Joseph (Kaitlin), William and Patrick and 10 great grandchildren. Beloved sister of Alice Bargull and Joan Woltjen and the late Dorothy, James and Roseann. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her great love of family - no one ever had as many pictures of family on her walls. Baby pictures, high school graduations, college graduations, weddings, family gatherings, and trips! Every family member has been covered by her knitting of blankets, made with love. Mom was the social coordinator for the family with many Saturday nights with aunts, uncles and cousins around the Hargrave St kitchen table. She enjoyed her afternoon tea with her neighbors and weekends in the backyard enjoying the pool. We will remember all the family trips to Ship Bottom, Wildwood, Sea Isle, and Ocean City. Never missed a basketball game with Dad as they watched their boys. Shared a love of reading with us all! Crossword puzzles, which she loved and drove many of us crazy while she worked on them. Travel - at least 7 trips to Europe, many visits to family in CA., Alaska, Washington, Oregon and back to Washington - kept her young for many years!! Until just recently, when asked how she was feeling, her answer was always, "I don't have an ache or a pain!" Her body wore out but her heart never did! Our love will continue, Mom, and we all know you will be watching over us as always! A special word of thanks and appreciation to Roseann and Joe for their loving care of mom the past 3-1/2 years.
