Alan R. Jones, age 81, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the devoted husband of 57 years to Mary Jane Jones (née Orr), and the cherished father of Alan "Rob" and his wife Meaghan, his son James "Jim" A., and his daughter Kelly A. Jones and her husband, Rabih Masri. A proud "Grandpop" to Emily and Matthew, Alan is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Alan was a graduate of Frankford High School and enjoyed a fulfilling over 40-year career with Prudential Insurance Company.

Alan will be remembered for his passion for golf, dancing, classic films, and timeless music.

Family and friends are invited on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114. A viewing will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
