Beloved husband of Lois (nee Clendening), devoted father of Aldo Jr. (Tricia), Marco, Justin (Leanne), loving nonno of Tea, Aldo III "Tre", Aria, and Madelena; brother of the late Hugo. USMC Veteran of the Korean War period. Aldo was well known in the community for nearly 50 years for his multiple business ventures, especially his insurance and income tax office on Girard Avenue, which also served as a showcase for his collection of historical artifacts and local memorabilia. An avid student of history, he could often be found reading an old book, and was always eager to swap stories with old friends or new. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday Evening 7 to 9 PM and also Thursday 8 to 9 AM, Burns Funeral Home, 1428 E. Columbia Ave., followed by his Funeral Mass 9:30 AM, St. Michael Church, 2nd & Jefferson Sts., Philadelphia. Interment is Washington Crossing Natl. Cemetery.
