Alexander Soroka, Jr., age 81 passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 22, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of Linda Soroka (nee McCade) for many years. The loving father of Linda Costello (Dan) and Mark Soroka. Al was a devoted Pop to his grandchildren Susan Soroka and Bill Costello and a cherished great grandpop to Ryan Mothes and Kellan Jensen. He was a loving uncle to Steven Soroka, Robert Primavera (Susan) and many other nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased in death by his parents, Murial and Al and his siblings Gayle Soroka and Dickie Soroka. He was also predeceased by Mother-in-law Lucille Mckee and brother-in-law Bill McKee who he was very close to. Brother-in-law to Margie Soroka, Richard McCade (Theresa) and predeceased by sister-in-law Harriet Crossin and Patricia McCade.

Al enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with Pepsi-Cola, where he retired after many years of service. In his free time, he was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, a passionate crabbing enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with friends at the river.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, January 29th 2025, at Burns Funeral Home 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
