Obituary

Ann Marie Howarth (née McVey) passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Jack Howarth, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years of marriage.

A devoted mother to Marie Campbell (Steve) and John Howarth, Ann Marie was also a cherished Mom-Mom to Mackenzie, Jackson, and Jagger. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: William McVey (Darlene), Kathy Ryan (Tee), John McVey (Joanne), Kevin McVey (Marianne), Virginia Howard (John), Marie Gebert (the late John), Grace Umile (Mike), Karen Calhoun (Mike), and the late Eileen Maziarz (Dave). Ann Marie is also survived by her dear brother-in-law, Bob Howarth, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ann Marie found great joy in spending time with her family, especially during the Sunday BBQs she hosted faithfully for over 28 years. Her deep Catholic faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she took immense pride in her role as a grandmother, always eager to shower her grandchildren with love and affection.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at St. Ephrem Catholic Church (5400 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020) from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass.

Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Those attending are kindly asked to arrive at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19114) by 7:30AM, funeral procession will be leaving at 8:00AM.
