Ann M. Richardson (nee Bigley) passed away peacefully August 30, 2023, at the age of 98.  Beloved wife of the late Franklin S. Devoted mother of Rita Marie Mullowney (Ronald), Teresa Richardson, Mary Ellen Richardson, and Richard Richardson (the late Maria Maguire).  Loving grandmom of Ron, Renee, Megan (Alex), Patrick and the late Matthew; GG to Cara, Colin (Monica), Owen, and Fiona, and Triple G to Christian.  Dear sister of the late Adele Fagan and Lawrence Bigley; survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ann retired from Pennsylvania Hospital where she worked as an LPN for many years.  As a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Parish and the Holy Name Guitar Group, she participated in many liturgical events, as well as, the annual Christmas Bazaar, Fashion Show, and New York Trip.  She especially loved volunteering at Holy Name School, Ascension of Our Lord School, and St. Peter the Apostle School.  She was also a Brownie Scout leader for over 30 years.  As a long time Fishtown resident she was active in many community organizations including the Friends of Fishtown and she took pride in keeping Palmer Park and Palmer Cemetery clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Saturday, September 9, 2023, 9:00 to 10:45 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 701 Gaul Street, Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be held at Palmer Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Holy Name of Jesus Church in Ann's memory would be appreciated.
