Obituary
Of Levittown, previously of Philadelphia.
After a brief illness, Nancy passed away peacefully at Chandler Hall surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late John and Delia Hansberry (nee Lally). Nancy was the widow of John B. Stearne.
Nancy had a long and fun filled life. She enjoyed going to Sea Isle City, roller skating, and the Mummer's Parade. Listening and singing Irish music brought her special joy. She was a parishioner of Queen of the Universe for 25 years.
She is survived by her twin sister, Margaret Connors, whom she resided with for the past 26 years. She was regarded as a "second mom" and best friend to Joan Haldeman (Jim), Peggy Murphy (Joe), Kathy Hillyer (Ron), Tom Connors (Pat), and Mary Beth Brennan (Bill). She was also survived by many others nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday Eve 7-9 PM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1514 Woodbourne Rd. Levittown, PA 19057 and her Funeral Mass on Saturday 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 5201 Emile Rd. Levittown, PA 19057. Interment New Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Queen of the Universe Parish, 2443 Trenton Rd. Levittown, PA 19056, or Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St. Newtown, PA 18940 would be appreciated.
