It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Anne McGinley (née Arters) on December 20, 2025.  She is the beloved mother of Alexis Wagner (Victor DeMaio), Sheridan McGinley, Tierney McGinley, and the late Kyle McGinley.  Adored G-mom of Victor, Lilly, Carson, and Rowan.  Dear daughter of Anna and the late William Arters; and sister of William (Brenda Knoud), and Frank Arters.  She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

She was one of a kind-someone who gave freely of herself without expectation or hesitation. People were drawn to her, gravitating toward the warmth, understanding, and acceptance she offered so naturally. She had a rare gift for making others feel valued, understood, and safe. Her talents amazed all who knew her; she possessed a sharp mind and an ability to figure things out quickly. Above all, she loved fiercely and unconditionally. Her love was constant, selfless, and unwavering, and it will continue to live on through those she cherished most. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, but her legacy of kindness, strength, and love will endure. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Friday morning, January 2, 2026, from 9:00-10:15 A.M. at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114.  Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated by her family.
