Anthony James Froio, "A.J.", age 40, of Bensalem, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 with his loving family by his side.
He was the loving husband and best friend of Kellie (nee Cochran). He was a devoted father to the greatest joys in his life, Zachary and Jake. He was the son of the late Frank and Katherine Froio. He is survived by his brother Gregg (Paula), his sister Vita, Aunt Isabel, Uncle Bernie, Aunt Maxine, and several cousins. He was the loving uncle of Kelly, Tommy, Ryan, Alyssa, Chase, Kyle, and the late Melissa. He will be missed by his in-laws Charles and Loretta Cochran, Cindy and Rob Berdick, and Craig and Cindy Cochran.
A.J. was born in Rome, N.Y. and raised in Bellmawr and Washington Township, N.J. He graduated from Paul IV High School in 1986, and Rider University in 1990, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. A.J. was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He coached his son's baseball teams and also volunteered for the Bensalem Ramblers for over 9 years. His spirit and strength touched everyone who knew him. He was loved by many and will be missed beyond words.
Relatives, friends, and employees of Attleboro Nursing and Rehab are invited to his Viewing Sunday evening 6-9 P.M and Monday morning 8:30-9:15 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila., Pa. 19114. Funeral Mass 10 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Bensalem, Pa. Interment private.
