Anthony T. Lapkiewicz passed away August 1, 2018 at the age of 100. Beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Porter). Loving father of Charles (Cecilia) and Margaret Link. Dear Pop of Scott McHugh, Bryan Link, Mary Long, Theresa Moore, Mark Lapkiewicz and Agnes Cappello; great grandpop of Aidan McHugh, Christopher Cappello, and Desmond Moore. He is also survived by his sister Henrietta Haarde. Tony was a Marine during the Battle of Iwo Jima, and a member of the Ferko String Band. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday August 9, 2018 9:00 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Salvation Army, 5830 Rising Sun Ave. Phila., PA 19120 would be appreciated.
