Arline Dorothy Campbell (nee Guy), 88, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2024. Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Arline attended Bridesburg Presbyterian Church and was a cheerleader, excellent student and proud graduate of Frankford High, class of June 1953.
Arline spent most of her life residing in Richboro where she raised her family and was kept quite busy coaching softball, supporting her children's sports activities, girl scouts, cub scouts, Addisville Youth Group, and volunteering for many school activities at Council Rock.She enjoyed taking ceramic, painting, and flower arranging classes as well as gardening. Arline loved and cared deeply for her family and friends. She was an extraordinary mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert Campbell, Jr., her parents Bernard A.P. Guy and Dorothy M. Guy (nee Bendler), and sister Janet Tingley. Arline is survived by sons Robert G. Campbell (Cathy) of Chalfont, William E. Campbell of Newtown, and daughter Bonnie L. Teschner (Todd) of Bloxom, VA; by her grandchildren Danielle, Kristin, Jennifer, Courtney, Rob, Brian, Erin, and Jack, and by her 11 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, February 9, 2024, 10:00 AM Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home, 905 Second Street Pike, Richboro, followed by her Service 11:00 AM. Interment - Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the USO, PO Box 96860, Washington, DC 20077-7677 in Arline's memory would be appreciated.
