Barbara Jean Benedick passed suddenly April 30, 2022, at the age of 66.  Devoted mother of Bobbie Cappo, John Volpe, and Nicole Volpe.  Loving G to Ayla, Emily, Sage, Tessa, Faye, John, and Sicily.  Dear sister of Butch, Angela, and Mary; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Barbara had a beautiful soul and was always there for everyone.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and had a passion for gardening and painting.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, May 9, 2022, 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM, Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by Words of Remembrance 2:00 PM.  Barbara's family is asking anyone attending her funeral to wear something beautiful and colorful to help celebrate the woman that she was.(But not a problem if you prefer black)
