Beloved wife of the late William H. Reed.  Devoted mother of Barbara Bittenbender (Carl S.).  Grandmother of Carl W. Bittenbender (Erin) and Erin Whalen (Patrick).  Great grandmother to Avery, Gavin, Shane and Eric.  Sister to Dolores Miller (Bud) and the late Charles "Bud" Everitt (Catherine), Walter Everitt (Patricia) and Lucille Eisenhaurer.  Sister in law to Nancy Egolf (Jack).  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.  After retiring from Kidde Consumer Durables, Barbara served as an extraordinary minister at Christ the King Church in Philadelphia.  Upon moving to New Jersey, she continued to serve at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Pitman, and St. Joan of Arc in Marlton.  One of her greatest joys was serving as the Coordinator of the Homebound Ministry at SJA.  She also volunteered at St. John Neumann Nursing Home and Community Services/RSVP office at Gloucester County College and was the Volunteer of the Year in 2007.  Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Monday, June 5, 2017, from 10-10:45 A.M. at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, NJ 08053.  Funeral Mass 11 A.M.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Marlton, NJ, 08053, would be appreciated.
