Obituary

Bernadette M. Galanaugh was born November 5, 1953 and was called home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2023. Bernadette was the daughter of Michael and Marie McGrenehan of Southwest Philadelphia and a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. She was a loyal employee of General Electric for over twenty five years and recently retired from AugustaWestland Philadelphia. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to Daniel R. Galanaugh, loving mother to her daughter Jennifer Dreibelbis (Scott) and her son Daniel R. Galanaugh, Jr. (Christina). She was the cherished Grandmother of Joseph, Matthew, Michael, Jack, Hailey and Daniel III. She was the loving sister to Daniel McGrenehan (Donna), Francis McGrenehan, and Regina Polisano (Dave). She was preceded in death by her brothers Michael and Joseph McGrenehan and is survived by their spouses Tina and Nora McGrenehan. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews who she kept close to her heart.

Relatvies and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, March 20, 2023, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114) from 6:00PM-9:00PM, and Tuesday morning from 8:30AM-9:45AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Anselm's Catholic Church (12670 Dunks Ferry Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154) at 10:30AM. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
