Born and raised in the coal mining region of Swoyersville, PA. Married our father, Isadore, who went off to Europe to serve his country. It was at this time that Bernadine also served her country, by being a member of a group of young ladies who were making submarine nets. Izzy and Bernie than came down to Levittown and purchased an original Levittown home. It was there that they raised Caroline, Linda and Eric Hochreiter. Bernadine loved cookouts, being with the family for trips and dinners, and Bingo. Izzy even made her into an Eagles fan. She will be fondly remembered by her loving daughter and son. She is the beloved wife of the late Isadore, loving mother of Linda Valdez, Eric (Marie) and the late Caroline Harvey. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Thursday 9 AM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME 1514 Woodbourne Rd. Levittown, PA followed by her service 11 AM. Interment private.
