A retired Sergeant of 26 years with the Philadelphia Police Department. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of I.L.A. Local 1242, and graduated from North Catholic, Class of 1967. Loving husband of Kathleen (nee Leyden). Beloved father of Brion (Helen), Ryan (Marlene), Michael (Gesuppina), Elizabeth (James Sotos) and the late Joseph. Pop of Taylor, Brion, Marisa, Michael, Ryan, Gianni, Mariela, Stella, and Joey. Brother of Bernadette, Dolores, Eileen, and Shawn. Amazing brother-in-law of Bernadette, Regina, Betty Jane, Donna, and the late Mary Ann. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday eve., 6-9 P.M. and Friday morn., 8-9:15 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1428 E. Columbia Ave., Phila., PA 19125.
