Betty J (Klinger) Royer
November 18th, 1939 - May 5, 2020

On May 5, 2020, Betty lost her short battle with Cancer surrounded by her loving family in her home. She will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend of almost 60 years, Fred Royer. She was also the loving mother to Rich (Diane) and Fred (Kim), grandmother to Jessica, Miranda, Brett & Juli, and great grandmother to Mia & Anthony. Betty worked at Bell Telephone before becoming the most dedicated homemaker for her family. Betty also loved and nurtured their two pets over the years, "Sammie Dog" and Sidney (parakeet). She was thorough and took a lot of pride in everything she did, including reading the newspaper every morning to Fred. Betty enjoyed dancing on American Bandstand and loved listening to ABBA. She also loved to do crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, play bowling and shuffleboard with her husband, slot machines at various casinos, enjoy bird watching, and planting flowers. Betty also enjoyed cooking and preparing the best meatloaf and cucumber salad. She enjoyed baking and eating her Christmas cookies, chocolates, and chocolate covered cherries. Every Saturday afternoon for many years Fred and Betty enjoyed their time togther drinking Sidecars. For her anniversary, she would spend a day at Ocean City to eat Curly fries and look at the ocean prior to going to A.C. casino with her husband and two sons. You would always know where to find her on New Years Day, in front of the tv enjoying the Mummers. She will be surely missed by her family.
