Beverly Jean (nee Jenkins) Poynter, passed away December 14, 2022 at the age of 73. Raised in the Northeast Section of Philadelphia. Loving daughter of the late Bertram Jenkins and Faith Jenkins (nee Bredbenner). Enjoyed traveling around the world and documenting her adventures through photography. She also enjoyed her summers visiting the Wildwoods and floating in her pool. Beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Poynter for 23 years. Loving mother of Thomas (T) Poynter, Heather (Matthew) McCloskey and Scott (Tara) Poynter. Devoted Grandmother of Kearsten Naples (Billy), Matthew McCloskey, Amanda McCloskey (John), Thomas Poynter & Daphne Poynter. Proud GG to Jackson Villaire. Survived by brother, Fletcher Jenkins (Betty), sister-in-law Barbara (Ruf) Stokley and niece Christina (Tim) McCombe. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday December 22, 2022 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 at 10:00 AM followed by Words of Remembrance at 11:00 AM.
