IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian K.
Borodin, Sr.
October 22, 1960 – November 14, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian K. Borodin, Sr., who left us peacefully on November 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 64 years old.
Brian was the beloved husband of Deborah (nee Szukalski), with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories. He was a devoted father to Sarah Black (Michael), Brian, Jr. (Elizabeth), Joshua, Samuel, Abigail Malta (Nikko), Zachariah, Jacob, Hannah, and Caleb. He took great pride in being a Pop-Pop to his grandchildren: Cameron, Leilah, Asher, Chloe, Noel, Bryce, and Grayson. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: David (Carol), Theresa Szukalski (Edward), and Debbie Borodin, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Brian's life was marked by service and dedication. He worked for over 25 years at the IRS, where his attention to detail and commitment earned him the respect of his colleagues. He was also a proud United States Air Force Veteran, whose service to his country was something he held dear.
Known for his candid nature, Brian never hesitated to speak his mind, often with a humor and honesty that made everyone around him smile. His presence was larger than life, and he was never shy to engage in conversation with anyone, bringing laughter and light to any room. His children and grandchildren fondly remember him as a constant source of joy and laughter, always making them feel loved and valued.
Brian's family was his world, and his legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will live on in their hearts forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114), followed by a Funeral Service. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
