Candace "Candy" Lee Papieredin, 66, died peacefully on January 20, 2018 at home. She was the loving wife to Michael W. Papieredin to whom she had been married for 45 years. Candy was born March 24, 1951 in Johnstown, PA; the daughter of Douglas E. Anderson and Violet Anderson. Candy graduated from Woodrow High School in 1970 and attended Philadelphia General Hospital (PGH), where she graduated with an X-ray technician degree. After many years Candy earned her paralegal degree in 1985 and continues that work until her retirement. Candy thoroughly enjoyed activities and the outdoors. She learned to swim at an early age due to the love of water skiing. She won numerous awards as a majorette in high school. She continued to enjoy swimming and the outdoors with her children throughout her life. A people person, Candy loved meeting and interacting with people. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and spending every minute that she could with her six grandchildren. Candy was a loving, kind and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that will be missed but never forgotten. There will be a service for family and friends on Friday, January 26, 2018 at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1514 Woodbourne Rd. Levittown, PA 19057 10-11:45 AM followed by her Service at 12 PM. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
