Carl was an avid fan of Penn Football, a devotee of WRTI Classical Jazz programming, loved the opera and playing bridge. He was a pioneer of Center City Philadelphia and loved nothing more than experiencing the next best restaurant that he could share with family and friends. Most of all, Carl had a discerning ear and loved listening to music on the finest equipment at a volume that often landed him negotiating with the neighbors. He had the opportunity to travel a great deal in his life, but most of all coveted his trips back to his family roots in the Black Forrest of Germany and the Costwolds where he hiked with his wife. The simple things that brought him joy were a Bombay Sapphire martini and a good cigar.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday March 4, 2023 at Anne's Choice Senior Living, 30000 Annes Choice Way , Keystone Club House Multipurpose Room, Warminster, PA 18974 at 1:00 PM followed by Words of Remembrance at 1:30 PM . Lunch will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Philadelphia Orchestra , One South Broad Street, 14th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107 would be appreciated.
