Carol D. DeSandro, beloved mother, sister, and aunt, passed away on July 16, 2024. Carol is survived by her children, Destiny Simpson (Mark) and Capri DeSandro. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose (née Altimari). Carol was a cherished sister to John DeSandro (Mary) and a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A proud graduate of Lincoln High School, Carol's early years were marked by her passion for dance, including tap, ballet, and jazz. She enjoyed performing and cherished the vibrant costumes and routines. In later years, Carol continued working at the Philadelphia Race Track, where she cared for horses with the same dedication her father had shown. Her memory will be fondly cherished by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA 19115) from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, followed by her Memorial Service.
