Carol A. Paska (nee Rodgers), beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Paska, passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 79.

Carol was a devoted and loving mother to Carol Anne Kain (Michael) and Thomas Paska (Leigh Ann), a cherished Mom Mom to her grandchildren, Molly, Catie, and Michael, and a treasured companion to her dog, Cocoa. She is also survived by her large extended family and friends.

As the matriarch of the family, Carol was affectionately known around her neighborhood as "Mom Mom Parkwood". Her generosity and spirit of service extended far beyond her home. A devoted volunteer, she gave many years of service to her children's schools and her parish community. Carol held various roles at St. Anselm School, but she will be most fondly remembered as the "stationery lady" offering students a brief respite from their school day with a visit to her cart. She also worked as a "lunch lady" in the Archbishop Ryan Cafeteria where she had fond memories with her friends, Rosa and Dot, always brightening the day of the students they served. She was a former member of the St. Anselm Legion of Mary where for years she offered prayers and performed kind works in devotion to the Blessed Mother.

With Carol's sweet smile and polite disposition, she easily engaged in conversation and made many friends. She was a confidant to many and could be trusted with any secret, offering unbiased advice and putting private conversations in a vault never to be shared.

She was content with a simple life; it didn't take much to make her happy. She valued genuineness in others and was always grateful for what she had. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandchildren and a hot coffee from Dunkin.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Anselm Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154 at 9:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you mirror Carol's thoughtfulness by performing a random act of kindness or by making a donation in Carol's memory to Socks for the Streets.
