Charles R. Donovan passed away suddenly April 25, 2022 at the age of 85. A US Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of 58 years to Mary (nee Donnelly). Loving father of Mary Ann Gallagher (James), John Clark, and Michael Clark (Jeanette). Dear Pop of John Gallagher (Leah), Christine Ann Gugger (Chad), Patrick Gallagher (Catherine), Krystal Clark, Karissa Clark, Alex, Allison, and Abby. Great Pop of Jack, Max, Jude and Liam. Dear brother of Joan McElroy (the late Bill), Richard Donovan (Rita Jane), and the late Robert Donovan (Barbara). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Charlie was an employee of Tasty Baking Company for 22 years. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday May 2, 2022 from 8:30-10:00 AM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church.
