IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles R.
Massaro
December 1, 1942 – January 27, 2025
Charles R. Massaro, 82, passed away on January 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose warm heart and love for life touched all who knew him.
Charlie was the beloved son of the late Samuel and Helen Massaro, and a devoted father to Maria Massaro and Ian Massaro (Amy). He was the proud "Popz" to his grandsons Nolan, Finley, and Macray "Mac." Charlie was a caring brother to Helen "Chickie" Miles (the late Richard), Patricia Lunardi (Henry), Sandra Pytrysson (the late Peter), the late Samuel Massaro, and Mary O'Donnell (the late William). He was also a dear uncle to many, including his late nephew Richard Miles, and is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A proud graduate of West Catholic High School in 1960, Charlie cherished the relationships he built throughout his life. He was a family man through and through, always putting his loved ones first and relishing in the moments spent together. His love for his grandsons was evident as he eagerly supported them in sports and their rock performances.
Outside of family, Charlie was an avid movie buff, and enjoyed hanging out at his favorite local watering hole with friends. As a devoted sports fan, he had a love for the Seattle Seahawks, though he would often secretly cheer for the Eagles when the opportunity arose.
Charlie will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, humor, and the love he gave to all around him.
