Loving husband of Joan (nee Sheridan).  Beloved father of Dawn Benedict (Chris), Charles Ries, III (Laura), and Jaclynn Ries-Trakalo (Michael).  Poppy of Dave, Chris, Maggie, Juls, Ella, Molly, Landon, Jovi, Matthew, and Rachel.  Great grandfather of Bella, Lani, and Caitlin.  Brother of Jane Ries-Jacoby (Vincent).  Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 11:30 A.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.  If you plan on attending the services, please arrive at the cemetery no later than 11:15 A.M.
