Charles "Butch" Wszolek passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 80. He was the beloved son of the late Charles and Dorothy Wszolek and the devoted husband of the late Carol Ann Wszolek (née Corby).

Butch was a loving father to Darlene Carpenter (the late Frank) and Charles "Charlie" Wszolek (Jen), and a proud Pop Pop to Kaley, Shyler, Chloe, Jake, and the late Shane. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy Tarka, and his companion, Lisa Wisniewski, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

A die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, Butch especially loved the 76ers. He enjoyed crabbing and cooking his catch, traveling on cruises, gambling, and never missed his annual trips to Las Vegas.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Butch's life on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at St. Martha's Church, 11301 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114. Guests are encouraged to wear Philadelphia sports attire. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at a later date.
