Claire J. Martin (nee Carr) passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025. Beloved wife of John for over 40 loving years, Claire was a devoted and caring partner who treasured her family above all else. She was the loving and dedicated mother of Brittney, in whom she took immense pride.

Claire was also the dear sister of many brothers and sisters. She was deeply loved by her family and will be remembered for the kindness and compassion she showed to everyone she met.

A woman of strong faith, Claire found great comfort and joy in reading the Bible. Her faith guided her daily life and was evident in the way she treated others—with patience, understanding, and genuine care. Claire was a kind, compassionate soul and a true friend, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her gentle spirit, warm heart, and selfless nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Claire's viewing on Friday, January 2, 2025, at Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114) from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by her Funeral Service.
