A retired police officer of the City of Philadelphia, Clayton is the beloved husband of Dorothy "Dolly" (nee Butterworth), devoted father of Diane Gillespie (the late Ronald) and Donna Doran-Livingstone (John), dear pop-pop of Diane Gillespie and Dallas Livingstone; also survived by his sister Joan Gould (Robert), his brother John Kakowski (Carol) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Clayton was a member of the German American Police Assoc., The Phila. Sheriff Dept. and the retired Police & Fire Assoc.
