Colleen Anne Wood (née O'Neill) passed away suddenly on December 9, 2025, at the age of 75. Daughter of the late Robert and Anne O'Neill, Colleen was the beloved wife of the late David Wood and devoted mother of Francis Murphy, David Wood Jr., Colleen Damone (Nicholas), and the late Dennis Murphy. Colleen was the cherished grandmom of Nora and Carly and the proud great-grandmom of Olivia and Emmett.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Carol Glynn (Jack) and Patricia O'Neill, as well as her aunt and dearest friend, Kate Gabor (Edward). She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Colleen attended John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School. She spent 20 years working at M & L Motors and Frank Griffin Car Dealerships while living in Florida. Upon returning to Philadelphia, she continued her hard-working spirit at the Spring Garden Diner, where she was a familiar and friendly face for 15 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, December 15, 2025, at St. Michael R.C. Church, 1445 N. 2nd St., Philadelphia, PA 19125, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
