Daniel McIlhenny, age 62, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, at his happy place in Somers Point, NJ. Born to the late Matthew and Mary (nee Cummins) McIlhenny, Daniel leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. And, in his wake, a trail of yummy beers.

He was the beloved husband of Shannon McIlhenny (nee Hakam). Father to Daniel McIhenny and father in law to Elizabeth Snock (Timothy) and proud Pop Pop to Daniel, Brendan, and Ryan. Dear brother to Mary Anne Hodges (Glenn), Matthew McIlhenny (Patrice), Michael McIlhenny and Kathleen Leve (Donald).  He was a devoted son in law to Diane Hakam and the late Steven Hakam. Brother in Law to Eric Hakam and Sean Hakam; also survived by many nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a casual gathering at the Ashburner Inn, 8400 Torresdale Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19136 on March 8 at 12:00 to 3pm, upstairs banquet room (handicapped accessible). At 1pm, stories and memories will be shared while enjoying a cold yummy beer in his honor.

Daniel's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
