Danny Wright, 81, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Danny was predeceased by his loving wife Ginny, and his brothers James (Rose) and Richard (Harv).

Danny is survived by his children Chris (Kristin), David, and Kim. Danny is survived by his grandchildren, Isadora, Camilla, Lucas, Lincoln, and Antonia. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces, brother and sister-in-laws.

Danny lived a life defined by kindness, integrity, and devotion to those he loved. He was a man of quiet strength and generous spirit. Danny’s greatest pride was his family. He was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend to all.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, his legacy of love, hard work, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him.

To know him, was to love him, and if you knew him, you knew he loved “Kai” his beloved dog, who died years ago.

In Danny’s words “My to do list is done.” 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday June 19, 2026 at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19114 at 11:00 AM followed by Words of Remembrance promptly at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
