It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of our brother, David Alan Ruf on October 13, 2025.  For most of his life, David worked as a Food and Beverage manager as well as bartender but for the last few years, he enjoyed working security with Allied Securities at Jeanes Hospital.

David had a wonderful sense of humor and making people laugh was his greatest joy. He will truly be missed by so many. David was 64 years old.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and George Ruf.  He is survived by his siblings William Hammer (Melody), Barbara Stokley (Keith), Paul Ruf ( Annette), and the late George C Ruf.  He will be sadly missed by his niece Christina McCombe (Tim) and his great nephew Finn Oliver McCombe.
