David passed away on July 8, 2020 at the age of 87.  David proudly served during the Korean War with the United States Army.  David also served on the Honor Guard in St. Petersburg, FL, Chapter 14 of the Korean Veterans Assoc.  He also was a retired Real Estate Broker.  Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Loughlin).  Father of Patricia DeRatto, Joan Lee (Michael), Kathleen Cost (Robert), David Smith (Betty), Paul Smith (Mary Lou), Robert Smith (Terri), and Alice Grace (Frank).  Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday, July 21, 2020 , from 8:45 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114.  Funeral Mass 9:45 A.M.  Interment 11:30 A.M. Washington Crossing National Cemetery.  If you are only going to the cemetery, please arrive no later than 11:15 A.M.
