Suddenly at the age of 57, Denise was a resident of Florida and formerly of Philadelphia. Beloved wife of John, she is the devoted mother of Shawn (Christine) and Sharon Schatzel (Erik), loving mom mom of Alicia, Natalie, Tyler, Emily, Andrew and Abigal, dear sister of Mary Murphy (Kenneth), James Hopkins (Maureen) and the late John Hopkins. Denise was a graduate of The Reading Hospital School of Nursing. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday Eve. 7-9 P.M. and also Saturday 8:30-9:30 A.M. Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave. (so of Grant Ave.) followed by her funeral mass 10 A.M. St. Katherine of Siena Church.
