Dennis was a proud veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.  He was a retired Engraver/Press Operator.  Dennis was an avid follower of all Philadelphia sports teams.  He enjoyed a variety of music and loved to bring everyone together to sing and dance.  Dennis' favorite pastime though, was spending time with his family.

Loving father of Erin, Casey, and Sidney.  Pop-Pop of Braeden and Cashton.  Brother of Michael Doherty, Cathy Doherty-Reynolds, and Judy Doherty.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday evening, 7-9 P.M. and Saturday morning, 9-10:45 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave., Phila., PA 19114.  Funeral Service will be at 11 A.M. Saturday morning.
