IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diane Dillon
Marciante
January 18, 1960 – December 27, 2025
Diane Dillon Marciante (née Altimari) passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family, after a brief yet courageous battle with leukemia. She was 65 years old.
Born to the late Frederick and Jane Altimari, Diane was also preceded in death by her beloved brother, Freddie Altimari. She was the devoted wife and best friend of Anthony Marciante, and the proud, loving mother of Jennifer Nestor (Patrick), Kristen Pellegrino (Frank), and Gianna Marie. Nothing brought her more joy than being "Mom Mom" to her cherished grandchildren, Sean, Frankie, and Gia Capri, who were the light of her life.
Diane is also survived by her dear mother-in-law, JoAnn Marciante, along with cousins and many lifelong friends who were deeply touched by her warmth, loyalty, and generous heart.
A proud graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, Class of 1977, Diane embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. She treasured her time in North Wildwood—especially at her North Beach condo—where some of her happiest moments were spent. Always on the go, she loved starting her mornings with a fresh cup of coffee, listening to music, and enjoying the simple joys of life. Elvis held a special place in her heart, as did local bands and live music that brought people together—just as she always did.
Diane's love was fierce, her presence unforgettable, and her devotion to her family unwavering. She lived with warmth, laughter, and a spirit that drew people in. Her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday Eve January 7, 2026 at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, and on Thursday January 8, 2026 at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154, from 9:15 to 10:15 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
The family kindly requests that donations be made in Diane's memory to the

. In honor of Diane's courageous fight, the family also encourages those who are able to donate blood, a gift that can truly save lives.
