Dolores J. Bartholomew (née Gillespie) passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, surrounded by her family.  Devoted mother of Brian Bartholomew (Nicole) and Jessica Vrablic (Jeremy), and cherished Grammy to her grandchildren, Seth, Bryce, and Austin. She was a dear sister to Jim Gillespie, Dan Gillespie, and David Murray, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Beloved daughter of the late James Gillespie, and Dolores and David Murray.

Dee was a retired Philadelphia police sergeant with the City of Philadelphia after 21 years of service.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Memorial Service 1:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dee's memory to Luv Our Vets Thrift Store through Venmo @LuvOurVeterans or can be mailed to Luv Our Vets, 214 W. 13th Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ 08260.
