Dolores A. Costello (nee Gleason), of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024, at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis X. Costello, Sr.  Predeceased by her son Charles.  Devoted mother of Francis X. Costello, Jr. (Debra), Marilyn Fischer (Mark), Susan DiSalvio (Joseph), Paul Costello, and Thomas Costello, Sr. (Annemarie).

Dolores was a cherished Mom Mom to 12 grandchildren: Linda (Chris), Mark (Lauren), Michael (Katie), Fran (Amber), Joe  (Tiffany), Matthew (Maggie), Kimberly (Tony), Christina (Kevin), Patrick (Sarah), Christopher (Claire), Josie, Thomas Jr., and 20 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy: Christopher, Ella, Drew, Lily, Isla, Jack, Ryan, Duke, Gianna, Vincent, Aletta, Haley, Madelyn, Peggy, Caroline, Chip, Gio, Wyatt, Wesley, and William.

She was the dear sister of Marilyn Kelleher, she will be missed by her friend and caretaker Debbie O'Connor. Dolores is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Born and raised in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia, Dolores was a lifelong resident and parishioner of St. Dominic Church, where she found comfort and strength in her faith. A proud graduate of St. Hubert's High School for Girls Class of 49', Dolores was also a member of the Middletown Seniors, where she enjoyed spending time with friends, especially playing bingo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Dominic Cemetery.
