Dorathea Helen Baxter

Dorathea Helen Baxter age 76, of Mays Landing, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026.

Dorathea was the beloved wife of the late Paul Gittle. She was a loving mother to Pamula Gittle and Richard Obidas, and a cherished grandmother of many. She is also survived by her devoted niece, Cindy Creamer (Kevin), whom she lovingly raised.

She was the dear sister of Gerald Harlacker (Kathi) and the late Margaret Harlacker. Dorathea was the beloved daughter of the late Gerald and Dorathea Harlacker and the cherished niece of the late Bud and Marge Lane.

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dorathea also made her home in Cape May, New Jersey; Maine; Jackson, Tennessee; Bryan, Texas; and Millville, New Jersey before settling in Mays Landing.

Services and Interment will be private for the Family.
