Dorothy C. Correll

Dorothy “Dot” Correll (nee Fox), age 93, passed away on October 23, 2026. Dot will be remembered for her warmth and ability to make everyone she met feel special. She was a proud graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School (Class of 1950) and a longtime resident of Fishtown, serving as a democratic committee person for decades.

Predeceased by loving husband Frank “Hap” Correll; devoted mother of Francis M. Jr. (Deborah), Kenneth E. (Hyon Chu “Suzy”), Christopher L. (Mary) and John F; loving Grandma Dotsie of Elizabeth, Jack, Christopher, Chase, Rachael and Madison, and sister to Harry W. Fox (predeceased), Margaret Hassey (predeceased), and Rosemary Ronn (predeceased).

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 6:00-8:30 pm at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1428 E. Columbia Ave. (at Fkd. Ave.), followed by visitation on Thursday, October 29, 2026 beginning at 10:30 am at Holy Name Church, 701 E. Gaul St., Phila., PA, 19125, with a mass to begin at 11:30 am. Internment private at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Laurentius School, 1612 E. Berks Street, Phila., PA 19125 would be appreciated.
