A long time resident of Philadelphia, Edith retired from Eastern State School and Hospital. She was predeceased by her daughter Edith Schiffler. Edith is survived by her children Harry (Betsy), and Mary Ann Achey. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM, Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., followed by her Service 11AM. Interment will be private.
