At the age of 83, of Keswick, Virginia passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 24, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 17, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Hughes Young and Edna Isabel (Rogers) Young. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Nedby, and their three children, Nancy Tuffin of Flower Mound, TX, Suzanne Garces of Los Angeles, CA and Bobby Nedby of Las Vegas, NV .

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia. Her family will receive family and friends following the memorial service until 1:00pm.
