Edward J. Jones passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, after a brief illness, at the age of 59.

A devoted father, Ed is lovingly remembered by his children, Amanda Jones (Carlos Bahamonde) and Eddie Jones (Holly Gautier). He was the beloved son of Bernice Jones and the late George "Bud" Jones, and dear brother of George Jones (Noel), the late Linda Duaime (John) and the late Kathy McDowell (the late Bill). Ed is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, Ed brought his enthusiasm for life to all he did. An employee of the City of Philadelphia, after many years of service.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, November 14, 2025, 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM, Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, followed by his Memorial Service 11:00 AM.  **Everyone is welcome to wear their Eagles Green**
