Edward J. Rudd passed away suddenly on March 15, 2018. Loving husband of 45 years to Dolores Rudd (nee Murphy). Loving father of Christen Lamb (Joe), Michael Rudd, and the late Edward F. Rudd. Pop Pop Eddie Rudd to Joseph and Gavin. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He will be sorely missed by his loving family and friends. Big Ed retired from the City of Philadelphia as a Police Officer and presently worked for Korman Suites as a Public Relations Officer. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday Eve 7-9 PM at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 1428 E. Columbia Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125 and on Monday 10:00 AM at Nativity B.V.M Church, 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19134 followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Northeast Catholic Alumni Association Inc., P.O. Box 7005, Philadelphia, PA 19149-0005 would be appreciated.
