Edward Thomas Stretz passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 80. Edward worked for the city of Philadelphia as an adult probation officer/pre-sentencing investigator. Ed was an avid Phillies fan and played baseball all his life. He was scouted by the Phillies and Cardinals when he was young. He loved to dance and sing along to his doo-wop favs. Amongst Ed's many adventures, he was also a lifeguard in Wildwood, a mailman, and a proud veteran of the US Navy.

Edward was Loving father of Lisa Miller, Janice Kaisinger (Patrick), Janine Stretz and Edward M. Stretz. Beloved "DaDa" of Dean, Emily, Maximus and Eve. Brother of Helene Krisciunas (Joseph). Dear Uncle Eddie of Joe, Patrick and Leanie. Great Uncle of Joe, Adam, and Shea.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday July 26, 2023 BURNS FUNERAL HOME 9708 Frankford Ave. Phila 19114 9am to 10:45am followed by his service 11am . Interment followed immediately at St. Dominic Cemtery.
