Edwin F. Davies, Jr. passed away, at his beloved mountain home, on October 20, 2022, at the age of 87. Edwin was a U.S. Army veteran, retired general contractor, avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and longtime fan of Penn State football. He tirelessly volunteered as a baseball coach and Baseball Director at Our Lady of Calvary Athletic Association, as well as President of the Archbishop Ryan High School Spike Shoe Club. He was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and Emporium Pennsylvania.  Beloved husband of 64 years to Bernice (nee Fedele). Devoted father of Keith E. Davies (Marybeth), Eileen B. Davies (William), and Kristine Kalitz (David). Loving Pop Pop to Ryan, Zachary, and Andrew, and Great Pop Pop to Jaxson. Caring son of the late Edwin Sr. and Hirrell Davies and brother of the late James E. and Dorothy.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life, Tuesday November 22, 2022, 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM, with Memorial Service 11:30 AM at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Coatesville VA Medical Center would be greatly appreciated.
