Eileen (Leaner) Wallace passed away peacefully on July 10 after a long battle. Death eventually won, but had to work for it and, we believe, exhausted itself in the process. A loving, stubborn and endlessly patient wife to Bill Wallace for 33 years. They had two children of their own, Julia and Zach Wallace but she spent a lifetime as the de facto second mother to generations of family children. In between her motherly duties and correcting the work of a generation of dentists, she found the time to do maybe just a touch of dental work at home. Beloved sister of Ray, Chris, Lisa (McLaughlin), Glen, and Amy Stefenack and life-long friend to Joan Smith (Smitty). Her legacy will continue to live through those she loved because she not only made us all better people, but made our lives better and will be missed forever. Private services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2022.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary .
